The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
