Vehicles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Police reported they were alerted by a man who discovered a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Approximately 50 cars have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to police.

Cars, walls and postal boxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they stated in a official communication.

Officers report they were contacted late on Wednesday night, when a resident discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a banned symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then located numerous other marked cars and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement state initial examinations show the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no clue as to its source; investigators are presently not informed of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they added.

Municipal representatives said they were working "to solve the case" and have appealed to the community for information.

An important official stated the incident made him speechless and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This act strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing attack half a decade ago," he stated on social media, mentioning the murder of nine individuals by a assailant targeting people of immigrant origin in five years prior.
